York and North Yorkshire Farmer Collaboration Partnership, led by the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority, is looking to bid into the Defra Farmer Collaboration Fund (FCF). The Combined Authority is working in partnership with the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority, the North York Moors National Park Authority, Nidderdale National Landscape, Howardian Hills National Landscape, and North Yorkshire Council.
The partnership has an ambition for York and North Yorkshire to be a leading rural powerhouse with economically resilient farm businesses that are confident to change and embrace innovation to restore nature, maintain food security and be profitable.
The national fund aims to support farmer groups and clusters which are farmer-led and encourage farmers and land managers to move towards more sustainable, nature-friendly and productive farming practices. It offers the opportunity to support farmers and land managers to come together, learn, innovate and grow.
We know there are many farmer groups, clusters and potential facilitators across the region ready to help achieve our ambition and bring farmers on the journey. Now we'd like to hear from you so we can work together to build on your work and give more farmers and land managers the opportunity to benefit from collaboration.

The Partnership intends to bid into the Defra FCF when it opens on 1st September 2026.
